About Office Hours
Office Hours was founded by Lindsey Scheftic of The CMO Sidekick in 2024, in collaboration with Kate Cook (Era Seven Partners) and Erin Elliott (Only the Bold Media).
Lindsey identified a growing trend of exceptional senior marketing talent transitioning from full-time roles to specialized boutique operations offering fractional CMO services, consulting, creative, and production.
As the gig economy gains mainstream acceptance, companies need a trusted curator to identify genuine top-tier talent. Through her work as The CMO Sidekick, Lindsey encountered numerous professionals misrepresenting their qualifications and experience while positioning themselves as senior-level or C-suite caliber.
Office Hours emerged from this challenge—a personally vetted network curating only the best talent to become the trusted source for companies seeking exceptional independent marketing professionals.
